Migrant mothers to register details of children at airport
According to the Chairperson of the Child Protection
Authority of the Sri Lankan females who leave the island for employment, only
about 36 per cent register themselves as being mothers leaving their children
with guardians here.
To overcome the problem of non-registration, a special desk
it to be set up at the Bandaranaike International Airport where the mothers
could provide details of their offsprings, like under whose care they have been
