This organisation is one that has combined financial and technical assistance for rural women with empowerment and training programs. RWON has encouraged village women to organise themselves into groups, which has created strong bonds within members of the groups. Instead of struggling alone, now these women can work together to solve problems. This method has resulted in close friendships and mutual understanding among the members of RWON.

Objectives:

• To increase the capacity of rural women to access services so as to commence macro enterprises
• To become self reliant through which sustainable development could be achieved

Activities:

• Leadership training and awareness programs

These programs have given women the confidence to solve their problems on their own. Women are more and more able to speak out in public and communicate more effectively and hence bringing about a complete change in their lives.
